Wishing you all a marvelous weekend. (black background is a must here!!) I am still grinding the outside world, so don't be surprised. And yeah, you caught me in my black and white stage. This place I wanted to shoot for ages now, and never got the time, or the light or the drive to do so. To get this angle, I had to trespass the private ground of this place, fully aware that the security people where filming and watching me doing a few exposures. They came in hard and forced me to delete my exposures, which I did of course, Knowing in advance that this can happen, I swapped the memory card so that I still saved a few exposures. A few days later, when I finished the post processing I sent this photo to the PR department of the owners and they where very pleased with the result. On the top they gave me a belated permission for the shooting, so I am free to use it. Man, what a thrill!!! Wonderful Sunday to everybody around the globe. After a long and quiet hard winter I am enjoying the warming up season, taking exposures outside my comfort zone away from the subsoils of Munich. This was taken between the BMW Museum and the BMW headquarter building. It is a single exposure if you wonder how the heck does this looks like. I was very lucky about the tower being still illuminated and this single window of the museum short after closing. I know, my friend Arnd Gottschalk has posted a similar blasting work of this place, if you ever have time, look at his breathtaking portfolio. During my stay in Hamburg I often took early morning walks along the Alster.. a photo taken some time ago .. The Alster is a right tributary of the Elbe in Northern Germany. It has its source near Henstedt-Ulzburg, Schleswig-Holstein, flows somewhat southwards through much of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg and joins the Elbe in central Hamburg. The Alster is Hamburg's second most important river. landscaped In the city center, the river forms two lakes, both prominent features in Hamburg's cityscape.
