Hadley, Massachusetts This is another capture from the same evening as "Ice Crusher" that I posted last month. It was a special sunset where the color lasted a while and the foreground possibilities where plenty. I was able the get a few compositions I liked before the "Ice Crusher", my daughter, destroyed them. The thin ice formations made for some interesting captures but they also sounded really cool when you jumped on them. At least my daughter thought so :D. Thanks for hanging out Sky!!! I decided to start anther 500px site with some of m macro work. I am as equally passionate about the tiny alien creatures that live among us as I am with chasing the light but I suspected that people who like a dramatic sunrise might not be thrilled to see a crazy jumping spider so I decided to keep them separate. Skagsanden Stream by Zermie

Skagsanden beach, Lofoten, Norway Looks better on black! I tried hard to post process a color version of this image, but failed to get the color management right. So I tried the b&w version and I like it because the sunsetting colors caught to much antention. I stamped out a view things in the foreground. I think storm Ole threw a lot of sea plants on the beach and it was quite hard to find a clear composition with out all these stuff on the beach. You are looking at a scene from Hardangervidda, Norway. The idea behind this was to contrast the red iron rich rock formations with the blueish sky and water. Tried to align the cloud covered sun with the direction of the stream. Multiple exposures, from what was originally meant to be a timelapse, blended together.
