Best viewed on Black Flowers bloom along the coast in La Jolla CA. The hillside I am perched on was covered in blooming flowers ranging from a deep pink purple to bright white. Finding a way to get to the top of them without trampling them was a tad painful. Instead of stomping through them I climbed up and around them, through thick thorn bushes. By the time I got to this spot I was scraped and bloody. I guess hiking through thorns in shorts and T-shirt and flip flops wasnt the best idea.
