This image was taken on the eastern shores of Lake Superior near Duluth Minnesota. The rock here is full of iron ore which makes them the red hue. The colors are especially vibrant early in the day. A one minute exposures added the smooth water and sky. 3 exposure blend using luminosity masking in CS5 followed by sharpening in LR5.
