Although we had several tantalizing glimpses of the aurora in the days preceding, it was only towards the end of the tour with co-leaders Arild Heitmann and Stian Klo that we saw a good display. I will remember that night not only for the dancing lights but the amazement on the faces of our group and the great feeling on the drive back to our cabins.
