I am under the impression that many are curious about the scenery around the cabin, hence yesterday I ventured far out on the swiftly thawing ice to get a sort of overview shot. What looked like promising sunset conditions turned out to be empty promises so we will have to do with a blue sky image. I know of no one who are better at "blue sky" images than Patrick Di Fruscia whose talent seems limitless. Anyway, I have done the best I can. Not an hdr. Single exposure.
